Our Story
We’re Anthony and Andrew, and we’ve spent years navigating the world of textiles—supplying the high street for big corporates, learning the ropes of an industry that often feels more about profit than passion.
Sauce & Brown was born from that experience, but also from frustration. We were tired of watching menswear grow stale, safe, and disposable. The High Street is still flooded with cheap, throwaway fashion, and we knew there had to be a better way.
The idea for Sauce & Brown first sparked in 2012. We let it simmer in our minds, experimenting, developing, and listening to feedback for years. By April 2014, with just £5,000 and countless late nights, we took the leap and launched the brand. It was a small investment—but one fueled by a big belief: that menswear could be thoughtful, creative, and made to last.
It’s not just us. Melanie—Andrew’s wife and a lifelong textile professional—rounds out our close-knit team. Together, we form the heart of Sauce & Brown: a small, hardworking family dedicated to creating pieces that matter.
Every design we make is limited to just 100 pieces. Each item is riveted by hand and carries its own unique number from 1 to 100. It’s our way of honoring craftsmanship, individuality, and the joy of owning something truly special.
Our mission is simple: to create menswear that breaks the mold, without breaking the bank. We want to make limited-edition design accessible to everyone, giving each of our customers the pride of being one of one hundred.
Since our launch, we’ve packed over 10,000 orders and earned more than 1,000 five-star reviews. Every piece tells a story—and we’re just getting started.
