Why Annesley for Sauce & Brown?

Posted by Andrew Frogson on

Well, to start with all the team at Sauce & Brown are local. It means a lot to us with some of the team having young families. Commuting was something we did not want to do.    Its not to say we don’t like travelling, we do. The team have and continue to travel East and West across the world, as we love to experience new places.  Annesley is based in one of the old heartlands of the Mining & Textile communities in North Nottinghamshire. We are North of the Thames, North of Watford Gap and North of the River...

You may buy a shirt, because you like it.    We hope you buy ours, because you like them.    Shirts can be made from Cotton, Poly Cotton, Cotton Rich etc, but we like to use pure unadulterated cotton.  Most of our shirts are made from what we call a 50’s cotton, but now we have started using 60’s & 80’s too. But if you are going into a “big” supermarket, you are virtually 100% going to buy something else, which has a profit margin, to offset the losses on the cheap T-Shirt. And these big companies are all about profit, so how the garments are produced are of no real interest to them. Believe what you must. ...

Its a long way. Make no mistake about it. Birmingham to Dubai – 6.5 Hrs, A couple of hours wait in Dubai Airport, then another 5.5 Hrs to Bangkok. Touch down in another world. City of Angels, Land of Smiles, or whatever terms you have heard about this place.  From the Airport, its a 40 min drive into Town, if the traffic is in your favour. Been stuck for 2-3 hours before on this, which is not nice, after the flight. You want to get to the hotel, & have a minute. Long flights mess with the brain.  The stay...
