Sauce & Brown so far.

We started back in 2014, April to be exact. Not knowing where this road would take us, but up to yet, it's been hard work and fun. Never discount fun when you are working. We virtually live at work, what with all the Social media and messages etc. You dont switch off so you better enjoy it. So looking at how we have grown a brand in a difficult period in time and slipping 'n' sliding our way into a world, which is predominantly owned by big corporates, what have we achieved?  Loyal customers first & foremost. Along come friends...

A Sauce of Manliness

A Sauce of Manliness

Sauce & Brown… it’s not all about the clothes    Sauce & Brown is not only a quintessentially British brand, but one with a proud local heritage rooted firmly in Nottinghamshire, the former heartland of the UK textiles industry.    This is something we are fiercely proud of.  Nottinghamshire has a long tradition of creativity and innovation.    It has given the world some of its most iconic brands and products… things which we take for granted every day.    Sir Paul Smith, for example, is renowned around the world while another local Knight Bachelor, Sir John Peace, has transformed...

Confused? Don’t be.    50′ Cotton poplin is very durable, with a tight weave, which retains it smoothness. Our Ants Shirt is made from this fabric. This fabric was originally manufactured in the Papal town of Avington. The...

OutRun May 2016 for Macmillan

Half of Sauce & Brown turned 31 this May. Happily married with a toddler and our second due 1st of June. This brought on a sort of male bravado, which made me want to prove that I could push myself to the limit. Almost like a pre pre midlife crisis with someone shouting at me “just because you’re a father you don’t have to get the slippers and beer belly to match”  I have always played amateur football, as a result I have an OK level of fitness  but this had slipped with S&B and home life demanding more of...
